Automated Ultrasonics
Hydrogen Induced Cracking
|
The images show "C Scan" and
"B Scan" plots of a sample containing Wet
Hydrogen damage. The techniques used to produce this form of data require the production of a consolidated data set. The data from transducers using multiple modes of ultrasound are used in a single array. The data from the multiple transducers is collected simultaneously, consolidated and shown as a single plot. |
|
Note, at a single location the sound is transmitted through the complete section of the sample. |
