The study is based on tanks tested by others.  Matrix’s test procedure is designed to improve results by addressing the main problems with collecting and analyzing AE data from tanks.
	Even so, there are some fundamental limitations and there will be both under and over-calls.  Nonetheless, it provides additional information to help with selecting tanks for inspection -- especially when used with historical data and risk based analysis.
